RX8 Drive-by-Cable Adapter
This adapter allows you to convert the RX8 from drive by wire to drive by cable by bolting in a 2002-2004 Subaru WRX or Impreza accelerator pedal. The Subaru pedal matches the RX8 clutch and brake pedals perfectly making for an OEM look and feel. When doing most engine swaps its simpler to convert to drive by cable and skip the overwhelming task of rewiring to use DBW.

Things you must provide:
-WRX or Impreza pedal. the WRX pedal matches the sport RX8 clutch and brake pedals while the Impreza pedal matches the base RX8 clutch and brake pedals.
-throttle cable
How to install:
-trim a portion of the plastic bezel for the steering column
-put the adapter in and start the top bolt, but don’t fully tighten yet, then put the Subaru pedal on the stud. Then line up the bottom hole and bolt through the pedal, through the adapter and into the factory RX8 mount. and that’s it!
-drill a hole for the cable to pass through
